  1. On The Horizon

This is the first tune I ever wrote. I was nineteen years old and living in Florida. I went down to Pompano Beach late one night and sat on the rocks at the end of the pier until dawn.

Lyrics

ON THE HORIZON

Sitting at the edge leaning on the wind
Fearing the weather but loving the breeze
Everything surrounds me nothing means more
Than what’s on the horizon

No one to help me nobody could
Going after a dream only I understood
Leaving my family leaving my home
Something was pulling deep in my soul…

Sailing through my mind reasons not to leave
Fearing the future wanting to grow
Everything reminds me but nothing pulls more
Than what’s on the horizon

No one to help me nobody could
Going after a dream only I understood
Leaving my family leaving my home
Something was pulling deep in my soul…

Moving with the stars praying for the times
Fearing the answers needing the truth
Everything devours me but nothing feeds more
Than what’s on the horizon

Leaving my family leaving my home
Something was pulling deep in my soul…
